Ross Baisas is an internationally recognized sculptor who has been shaping the world of ice and snow for over two decades. His journey began in Toronto Canada’s Winter festival of 2002, when he carved his first multi-block debut and proudly won first place. That initial victory ignited a lifelong passion, setting the stage for a career defined by artistry, precision, and global recognition. Since then, Ross has competed annually in national and international events, earning numerous awards both as a solo artist and as part of collaborative teams.
His work transcends mediums—ice, snow, wood, and sand—each piece showcasing his unique vision and technical mastery. Ross has been invited to prestigious competitions and commissioned projects across Canada and around the world.

Beyond ice and snow, Ross has also showcased his talent in Hays and Straw sculpture and wood carving, with notable participations in Quebec and Valloire and occasionally work in sand sculptures His most recent and remarkable achievement came at the World Ice Art Championships (Ice Alaska), where he made history by winning Gold in Multi Block, Duo, and Solo categories—a rare triple triumph. On top of these victories, Ross also earned the Overall Highest Score Award across all categories, bringing home a total of four major awards in one competition. Ross Baisas continues to inspire audiences worldwide with his creativity, dedication, and ability to transform natural elements into breathtaking works of art. His journey is not only a testament to his skill but also to his passion for sculpting beauty out of ice, snow, and beyond.

My name is Antonio Baisas born and raised from the Philippines I am a kitchen Artist in one of the famous hotel in Manila , during my four years working at this hotel I won a several awards in culinary and in fruits, vegetables, chocolate and ice carving competitions . November 1996 the Casino du Lac - Leamy a company from Quebec Canada that hired me to work as their Kitchen Artist Winter 1997 my first snow carving with my late uncle we won a 1st place And that how start my career in ice and snow sculpting competing in Ottawa Winterlude for over 20 years won several medals and awards •Poznan Poland ice festival •Alberta Canada ice magic •Banff Canada •St Jean port Jolie Quebec Canada •Fort St.John Canada •Ithaca NY USA •Madrid Spain •France Valloir de Gallibier •Germany •Alaska USA

Václav Lemon
sculptor, woodcarver
1999 - Secondary school of Art and Craft with specializing for woodcarving
2002- graduated from the Higher school of Arts and Crafts in Brno, in the field Restoration and conservation of furniture and nonchrome woodcarvings.
Currently lives and forms in a small village in Beskydy mountains in Czechia.
Since 2014 mostly he has formed wood sculptures and objects by the chain saw. Since 2016 he has worked with sand, snow and ice and participates at the symposiums and competitions around the world.

Nikolai Torkhov
From 2006 to 2012 he studied at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov at the Russian Academy of Arts (faculty of sculpture)
Course professor Pereyaslavets M.V.
The diploma work “Sniper” was awarded a grant from the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Since 2016, Nikolai Torkhov has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
Since 2000, he has been a regular participant in all-Russian and regional exhibitions, as well as a participant in more than 100 international art projects in more than 35 countries.
Since 2019, member of the Ryazan Art Council.
In 2020, he embodied in bronze the image of one of the main characters of the city of Ryazan, “The Ryazan kosopuz.” The sculpture found its place in the city center in Novoslobodsky Square.
Nikolai's creative works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
The sculptor works with all traditional materials (bronze, stone, wood), as well as with unusual several materials such as sand, ice and pumpkin, bringing the traditions of the Russian school of sculpture to street art.
